life and prosperity of business
Vaastu Shilpa shastra, the ancient mystic science and art of designing and construction of buildings finds its origin Staptya Veda which in turn is part of Atharva Veda, one of the four vedas.
In today's age & time with growing urbanisation, paucity of space and more significantly the rampant sense of faithlessness in anything that modern science fails to explain, it is practically impossible to even dream of a home or office confirming to the laws of "Vaastu".
The universe is made up of the 5 basic elements (Panchaboothangal) i.e. Water, fire, earth, air and the sky.
>>Wind : The North-west is the Vayusthana or the place of the wind. Hence the door, window or ventilatttor is to be constructed in the West in Northwest, without obstruction and the owner of such building experiences happiness, improvement in business and good friends.
>> Water : NorthEast is the Jalasthana or the place of water. If a well or an underground water storage facility (Sump) is build here, then the owner of the site is bound to experience happiness and prosperity.
>>Sky : The sky corresponds to the middle of the building is the Brahmasthana, it is very good if this place is built open to the sky without any Ups and downs in the middle of the building Owners of small sites may not find this idea feasible. Care should be taken, not to place any heavy objects here.
Vastu shsatra
Vaastu is the science of direction and architecture that combines all the five elements of nature and balances them with the man and the material. Vaastu Shastra is creating a congenial settings or a place to live or work, in most scientific way taking advantages of the benefits bestowed by the five elements called "Paancha Maha Bhootas" of the nature thereby paving the way for enhanced health, wealth, prosperity and happiness in an enlightened environment.
The world comprises of five basic elements, also known as the Paanchbhootas. They are Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Space. Out of the nine planets, our planet has life because of the presence of these five elements.
EARTH (Bhumi):- here means composition of the surface of the earth , the soil and other minerals present in the soil. The upper part of the surface is called soil, Stone, sand, iron, lime etc., all these are parts of soil. All these physical elements are available in limited quantity and on a particular place. This depends on the composition of surface, its form and size, trees and vegetation grown upon it etc. that whether it will be appropriate to inhabit at such a place or not. Moreover if there is a residence there, what type of construction should be there. Availability of essential building materials and their transportation also depend upon the formation of soil. Soil can be categorized on the basis of its shape, touch , taste and sound . We must take care that it suits our physique while selecting land for building and collecting building material. There are many things described in Vaastu Shastra about the size and type of land and method of "Bhoomi Poojan" are also explained in it.
